On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the Aurora Regional Fire Museum's annual Community Hero Day will take place on the grounds of the Fire Museum from 10am-2pm. This is a FREE Family Event that continues to be a success due to overwhelming support from our partners and the citizens of Aurora and surrounding communities. Families will have an opportunity to once again participate in touch-a-truck with vehicles spanning from police and fire to community services. Learn more on the Fire Musuem's Event Page Here.
Is This Class Right For You?
The Hands-Only Certifcation in not an OSHA approved class. If you need CPR training for your workplace you may need a differnt certifcation such as Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.
This class is an American Red Cross Class.

Many people who survive a cardiac emergency are helped by a bystander. You can learn how to perform Hands-Only CPR – so that you can help deliver life-saving care until professional responders arrive. his class is approxmatly 45 minutes long and is insturctor led.
There is no online learning with this course but you are encouraged to learn more about Hands-Only CPR on the American Red Cross Website.

Aurora Regional Fire Museum in Aurora, IL
DobroSKILLS CPR offers American Red Cross–aligned CPR, First Aid, and BLS classes at the Aurora Regional Fire Museum, located in Aurora, Illinois’ historic original Central Fire Station in Downtown Aurora.
The museum is a community-focused space offering public history exhibits, educational programs, and group tours. DobroSKILLS CPR uses the museum’s second-floor meeting space to host public CPR and BLS classes open to the community in a comfortable, professional learning environment.
The Aurora Regional Fire Museum is centrally located in Downtown Aurora, approximately 3.7 miles south of Interstate 88 (Chicago–Kansas City Expressway). Free public parking is available on the east side of the building, making it easy for students traveling from Aurora, Naperville, North Aurora, Montgomery, and surrounding Fox Valley communities.
