This is a two day course taught indoors and outdoors! This is a great class if you are looking for more in depth hands on first aid  training. This is also a great training if you are in a remote area where EMS is 60 minutes or more away from your location. 


Students who complete the course will earn a certification in Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED r.25 with Wilderness and Remote First Aid.

Is This Class Right For You?

Designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments. Students must be at least 14 years old.


This course is taught indoors and outdoors. Participants should come prepared to work in all weather envrionments during this course and prepared to work on the ground. 


There is also required online pre-work as that is part of the Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED Certifcation.

This class is an American Red Cross Class.

Designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away. Based on the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, this course aligns with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs.


  • Adult and Pediatic CPR/AED

  • Primary and Secondary Assessments

  • Head/Brain, Neck and Spinal Injuries

  • Heat-Related Emergencies

  • Hypothermia

  • Altitude-Related Illnesses

  • Allergies and Anaphylaxis

  • Burns

  • Bone and Joint Injuries

  • Wounds and Wound Infection


This is a two day course weekend course that goes from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. There is also required pre-work as part of this training that is done online. 


Prerequisites: Must be at least 14 years old and hold current adult CPR/AED certification. Students earn certification in Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED.

Aurora Regional Fire Museum in Aurora, IL

DobroSKILLS CPR offers American Red Cross–aligned CPR, First Aid, and BLS classes at the Aurora Regional Fire Museum, located in Aurora, Illinois’ historic original Central Fire Station in Downtown Aurora.

The museum is a community-focused space offering public history exhibits, educational programs, and group tours. DobroSKILLS CPR uses the museum’s second-floor meeting space to host public CPR and BLS classes open to the community in a comfortable, professional learning environment.

The Aurora Regional Fire Museum is centrally located in Downtown Aurora, approximately 3.7 miles south of Interstate 88 (Chicago–Kansas City Expressway). Free public parking is available on the east side of the building, making it easy for students traveling from Aurora, Naperville, North Aurora, Montgomery, and surrounding Fox Valley communities.
