Service Description
Practical Fire and Life Safety Skills & Pathways in Museums is an innovative youth education program for high school students that combines life-saving emergency preparedness training with career exploration. This free program is available to students attending high school in the local community.** Participants will earn a two-year American Red Cross Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certification, learn how to safely use a fire extinguisher, and explore careers in museums and community service institutions. Students will also build a mini first aid kit to take home. Those who successfully complete the program will receive a $20 Amazon gift card. Classes will be held from 12:00 PM–5:00 PM at the Aurora Regional Fire Museum in downtown Aurora. Space is limited, so register today!
