The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training program is designed to provide youth ages 11-16 who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to give care safely and responsibly to children and infants. The goal of this training is to help participants develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business; keep themselves and others safe; and learn childcare skills, basic first aid, and CPR.
Step 1: Online Class
Complete the web coursework on your own schedule before the skills session. (30 minutes to 3 hours)
Step 2: In-Person Skills Session
Attended the hands-on skills session to complete your two-year certification.
Step 3: Earn Certification
Two year certification emailed to you in one business day.
