Class Description

The Adult & Pediatric First Aid/ CPR/AED class focuses on skills helping adults, children and infants. The purpose of the courses in the First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies to know how to care for a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.

This class is a Blended Learning Class which gives students the ability to do most of the training online then attend an in-person session to test their skills.

Participants who successfully complete the online and in-person portions will receive  an American Red Cross Certification in Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR AED r.25.  Certificates are valid for two years and will be issued in about one business day after the in-person class. Certificates are delivered via e-mail and can be found on the Red Cross Website.
