Class Description
Online and in-person instructor led training for a two-year certification in American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.
The online portion can range from 30 minutes to 3 hours long depending on technology limitations and familiarity with the skills.
The in-person instructor led session is typically 2 hours and 30 minutes long.
The certificate is valid for two years and will be issued in about one business day after the in-person class is completed via e-mail.
If you are a health care provider, you may need the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Class (BLS).
The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED class class is appropriate for:
Babysitters & Daycare Workers
Teachers, Coaches & Students
Personal Trainers & Camp Staff
Religious Leaders
Construction & Industrial Workers
Electricians, Plumbers & Miners
Marine Workers & Boat Captains
And anyone needing a basic First Aid, CPR, AED Certification.
This class is NOT an American Heart Association (AHA) course.

Located in Aurora's original Central Station, the Aurora Regional Fire Museum provides a place for public history, learning, and community gathering for all ages and occasions. They provide walk-in tours, scheduled group tours, educational programs including field trips and scout programs, and more. DobroSKILLS uses the Fire Museum's second floor meeting space to hold CPR and BLS classes that are open to the community.
